I searched for solutions to automate the disabling of this option but I found none so I created one myself. After setting the MAC and rebooting the Use random hardware address option is greyed out. The best way I found to disable this is to add a registry key that sets the MAC address of the WLAN card to its actual MAC. This feature caused some headaches on our campus because we use NAC that is based on MAC addresses so when cadets would turn it on they would lose network connectivity on their school issued laptops. The switch is located at Settings > Network and Internet > Wi-Fi > Use random hardware address. Windows 10 has a feature (even on Enterprise) that allows users to very easily change the MAC address of their WLAN card just by flipping a switch.
